The Center Within ("TCW," "we") operates thecenterwithin.com and provides virtual care, programs, and educational content. This notice explains what we collect and why.
2. What we collect
- Contact information you give us, such as name, email, and phone number.
- Information you enter in forms, such as booking requests, event interest, and application details.
- Website usage data, such as pages visited and device type.
- Payment details, which are processed by Stripe. We don't store full card numbers.
3. Health information
Clinical information, including health history, lab results, and brain assessment data, is collected through Practice Better and our clinical intake, not through this website. That information is handled under our clinical consent and applicable health privacy law. Please don't include health details in contact forms or community messages.
Educational load check
Your assessment answers, context responses and scores are processed in your browser. They are not saved in our form records or sent with your name and email, and they disappear when you leave or reload the assessment. After you enter your name and email, we save those contact details and your list-consent choice, which is a separate, unchecked-by-default opt-in.
4. How we use information
To respond to inquiries, schedule and deliver services, process payments, send program and community updates you've agreed to, improve the website, and meet legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate, including Practice Better, Stripe, and our email and website service providers. We don't sell personal information. We share information when required by law.
6. Marketing messages
We send marketing email only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message.
7. Cookies and tracking
The site uses cookies needed to run and analytics cookies to understand traffic.
8. Retention
We keep contact information as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and as required by law.
9. Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@thecenterwithin.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Oregon residents have specific rights under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, which we honor.
10. Children
The website is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
11. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee complete security.

We may update this notice. The current version is posted here with its effective date.
