1. Who we are
The Center Within ("TCW," "we," "us") offers nervous-system-centered health education, virtual care, and programs. Clinical services are provided by licensed clinicians. Lili Bornio Carrillo is a Physician Associate (PA-C) practicing under a collaborative agreement with a licensed supervising physician. Team members in non-clinical roles, such as breathwork, sound healing, and physical training, do not provide medical care.
2. Not for emergencies
If you may be in danger or having a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. In a US mental health crisis, call or text 988. Do not wait for a reply from us.
3. Education, not a substitute for care
Website content, quizzes, assessments, and community sessions are educational. They are not a diagnosis or treatment plan. Clinicians review intake and assessment results before any care recommendation. Don't change prescribed medications or treatment based on anything here without talking to your own prescriber.
4. Eligibility and location
You must be 18 or older. For telehealth visits, you must be physically located in Oregon or Washington at the time of service. We may decline services where we are not licensed or authorized.
5. No outcome promises
Results vary. We do not guarantee any health outcome, symptom change, or program result. Testimonials are shared with consent and reflect individual experiences, not typical results.
6. Programs, consultations, and payments
Fees, schedules, and cancellation or refund rules are in your signed program or service agreement and shown at checkout. These Terms do not create a charge or recurring payment. Payments are processed by Practice Better and Stripe.
7. Third-party services
Scheduling, intake, and payments may run on third-party platforms, including Practice Better and Stripe, under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their services.
8. Privacy and health information
Our Privacy Notice and the clinical consent you sign describe how we collect, use, and protect health information. Website forms are not a clinical intake.
9. Accounts and messaging
Keep your email and devices secure. Community messaging, including WhatsApp groups, is not a confidential clinical channel. Don't send urgent health information through it.
10. Our content and your submissions
Our content, including logos, images, and methodology names such as "Regulate → Restore → Integrate" and "C.A.L.M. Method," belongs to The Center Within. Don't copy or republish it without written permission. Don't submit information about other people or anything you don't have the right to share. We use testimonials and stories only with your written consent.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The website is provided "as is." To the fullest extent Oregon law allows, TCW is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fullest extent allowed by Oregon law. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Oregon law. Disputes are heard in the state or federal courts in Multnomah County, Oregon.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version is posted here with its effective date.
